Project Veritas has done it again, this time with an exposé outing fake news giant CNN for fearmongering about the Wuhan coronavirus (Covid-19).
According to CNN technical director Charlie Chester, the fake news network’s head ordered staff to constantly display on the screen during broadcasts “death” numbers supposedly tied to the Chinese Virus – the goal being to scare viewers into accepting more government tyranny while boosting ratings.
Chester told an undercover Project Veritas reporter that “fear really drives numbers” and “is the thing that keeps you tuned in.” This is why CNN‘s entire business model relies on selling fear 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
“Covid? Gangbusters with ratings, right?” Chester stated. “Which is why we [CNN] constantly have the [Covid] death toll on the side, which I have a major problem with, with how we’re tallying how many people die every day.”
CNN not only blasts that death number to viewers during every broadcast, but the network also pads the numbers to make them seem as scary as possible. This is how CNN keeps people tuned in and scared.
According to Chester, higher-ups at the fake news network would often tell him to pull down the death count tally, only to have the head of the network come in and say that it had to be plastered back up on the screen.
“The special red phone rings and this producer picks it up,” Chester explained. “You hear [murmurs] and every so often they put it on speaker and it’s the head of the network being like, ‘There’s nothing that you’re doing right now that makes me want to stick.'”
“‘Put the [Covid death toll] numbers back up because that’s the most enticing thing that we had. So, put it back up,'” Chester added, citing a hypothetical response from CNN network head Jeff Zucker. Though Chester is not heard in the recordings specifically mentioning Zucker by name, we know that Zucker is the one who calls all the shots at CNN.

In another undercover video that Project Veritas released just one day prior to this one, Chester also admitted that CNN worked overtime to ensure that Donald Trump “lost” the 2020 election.
Were it not for CNN’s constant barrage of fake news reporting, Chester stated, there is no way that Hunter’s dad (Joe Biden) ever would have “won” the election.
“Look at what we did,” Chester bragged. “We got Trump out. I am 100 percent going to say it. And I 100 percent believe it that if it wasn’t for CNN, I don’t know that Trump would have gotten voted out.”
Calling CNN’s reporting “propaganda,” Chester added that for most of the time between 2016-2020, CNN/s primary goal was to stop Trump from doing his job while doing everything within the network’s power to steal the 2020 election from him.
CNN routinely manufactured fake news stories, Chester admitted, that were designed to make Trump appear unhealthy and unstable, for example.
“We brought in, like, so many medical people to, like, all tell a story that, like, it was all speculation that he was, like, neurologically damaged – that he was losing it, he’s unfit to, you know, whatever,” Chester rambled.
“We were creating a story that we didn’t know anything about,” he further explained about how CNN’s entire business model centers around creating fake news for its gullible viewers.
