For months, the mainstream media has been pretending as though it desperately wants to save lives by combating the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) through any means necessary. But once President Donald Trump actually presented a promising solution, they all flipped a switch nearly in unison.
According to Attorney General William Barr, news coverage about the anti-malaria drug hydroxychloroquine quickly shifted the moment Trump endorsed its usage, even though Dr. Anthony Fauci himself endorsed the drug back in 2013 during the Obama years when it was used to treat SARS (severe acute respiratory syndrome) and MERS (Middle East respiratory syndrome), two “cousins” of the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19).
“Before the president said anything about it, there was fair and balanced coverage of this very promising drug and the fact that it had such a long track record that the risks were pretty well-known, and as soon as he said something positive about it, the media has been on a jihad to discredit the drug,” Barr is quoted as saying.
“It’s quite strange,” he added. “The stridency of the partisan attacks on him has gotten higher and higher, and it’s gotten disappointing to see.”
What could be the key to quickly getting everyone out of lockdown and back to normal is being vilified by Fauci, the media, and other anti-Trump elements that, in many ways, seem to want the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) to continue spreading. After all, if they really wanted to stop this scourge, then they’d be supportive of any possible solution, regardless of who presents it.
Be sure to listen below to The Health Ranger Report as Mike Adams, the Health Ranger, talks with Dr. Paul Cottrell about how the coronavirus lockdowns need to end in order to protect our liberties as Americans:
Describing hydroxychloroquine as a “game changer” in the fight against the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19), President Trump’s recent announcement appeared to shock many deep state hacks who were clearly planning to unveil mandatory vaccinations as the “solution,” not some generic pharmaceutical that won’t make any of them rich. This is presumably why he’s now under attack both by the mouthpieces of Operation Mockingbird and by leftovers in his administration such as Fauci.
Barr, at least, is thrilled that Trump made the announcement, also declaring his entire handling of the situation to be “statesmanlike.” On the other hand, Barr stated that the White House press corps has been asking a lot of “snarky gotcha questions” to try to derail his efforts.
Some in the media are claiming that Trump cited a “flawed” study out of France, which suggested that hydroxychloroquine may be effective against the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19). But this hasn’t phased Trump, who also recently announced that his administration had purchased “a tremendous amount” of the drug, which is to be distributed to the states following emergency approval by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
The day before this, White House economic adviser Peter Navarro reportedly got into a heated argument with Fauci over the drug, which Fauci has been downplaying despite his previous endorsements while working under Obama. Fauci continues to claim that there exists no “strong” evidence to suggest that hydroxychloroquine works for the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19), and that it shouldn’t be prescribed because of this.
“Day by day there are more articles about the success of the drug in combination with some other drug,” wrote one Zero Hedge commenter about the news.
“Yes, it may have side effects but it has been in use since 1955 … I am not aware of one article that has spoken about how this drug has failed.”
